1. About Us

Bóthar2Med provides guidance and tutoring services to students applying to study medicine in the UK, including preparation for UCAT, medical school interviews, and personal statement review.

2. Use of Services

  • You may use our services without creating an account.

  • You must ensure any information you provide is accurate and up to date.

  • Services are intended for students aged 16 and above.

  • If the student is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent to the use of our services, including session participation and recordings. By proceeding with the purchase or booking, you confirm that such consent has been obtained. Bóthar2Med reserves the right to request proof of this consent at any time.

3. Payment and Refunds

  • Payment must be made in full prior to service delivery.

  • Refunds: We do not offer refunds once a purchase is made, except in exceptional circumstances, at our sole discretion.

  • If a session is missed without 24 hours’ notice, it may not be rescheduled or refunded.

4. Booking Policy & FAQs

• How to Book

  • You can book directly from our website via stripe by selecting a service.

  • After booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email with proof of purchase.

• What’s Included

  • Each session includes personalised 1:1 support tailored to your needs, full details are in the description of your service.

  • Access to additional resources may be included depending on the package chosen.

• When You’ll Be Contacted

  • You’ll receive an automatic confirmation upon booking.

  • A member of our team will contact you within 24 hours to confirm session details and share any preparatory materials.

  • For interview or statement review services, you may be asked to provide documents in advance.

5. Safeguarding and Session Recording

  • For the safety of our students, all sessions involving individuals under 18 will be recorded.

  • These recordings are stored securely and used strictly for safeguarding and quality control purposes.

  • Recordings will not be shared publicly without consent.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content provided by Bóthar2Med, including documents, presentations, and recorded sessions, is the intellectual property of Bóthar2Med and may not be shared or redistributed without permission.

7. Privacy and Data Collection

  • We collect personal data such as names, contact information, and payment details in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • By using our services, you consent to this data collection and use.

8. Code of Conduct

  • Users must treat tutors and other participants with respect.

  • We reserve the right to terminate access to our services if behaviour is abusive, disruptive, or otherwise inappropriate.

9. Disclaimer

  • While we aim to help students improve their medical school applications, we do not guarantee admission to any university or program.

  • If a student under 18 uses our services without proper parental or guardian consent, Bóthar2Med disclaims liability arising from such unauthorized use.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bóthar2Med shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the United Kingdom.
